About Me

I’m a cinematographer from the coastal city of Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh — a place where the skies are always dramatic and the sea never stops moving. Maybe that’s where my love for visuals began… watching stories unfold in light and shadow, long before I ever held a camera.

From a young age, I was drawn to the magic behind the lens — the power to capture not just what is seen, but what is felt. That silent pull led me into the world of visual storytelling, and I haven’t looked back ever since.

My first big break came in 2019, with the film Evaru. It wasn’t just a project — it was a turning point. The success of that film opened doors I had only dreamed of. More importantly, it gave me the confidence to trust my eye and dig deeper into the emotional layers of storytelling.

One of the most profound experiences of my career was working on Major, the biopic of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. It wasn’t just about cinematography — it was about honour, sacrifice, and emotion. Every frame carried weight. From capturing the innocence of his childhood to the intensity of his final mission, our goal was to bring the audience as close as possible to his journey. The process was deeply collaborative — long conversations about human instinct, emotion, and vulnerability shaped our visuals. That film stays with me.

Over the years, I’ve had the chance to explore various genres. Varudu Kavalenu allowed me to play with warmth and romance. SPY gave me the thrill of shadows and speed. Buttabomma pushed me to focus on subtle, emotional beats. And Rangabali brought out the vibrancy and colour of mainstream celebration. Each film became its own playground of a new technique, a new learning with emotion.

This journey taught me to trust my instincts. Sometimes, a spontaneous feeling about the lighting or angle, even if unplanned, creates the most authentic shot. That's the difference between a visual storyteller and a technician: trusting your gut.

To me, every film is a fresh beginning — a new world, a new rhythm. And as long as I’m behind the camera, I’ll keep chasing that perfect frame where story, soul, and cinema meet.
